The WI Show Sub Group
Formed in 2019 when the Institute entered The Shrewsbury Flower Show as novices, the group now co-ordinates the entries for WI Day held in September.

In 2026 the WI Show will be held held on Saturday 5th September in The Abbey, Shrewsbury.
Our team entered two cooperative classes at the show last year; Leisure time where we depicted beekeeping and Travelling where we entered preserves from Spain, Florida and South Africa.
Many individual entries were entered in the decorated frangipane, pebble art, fruit curd and decorated bag classes.
We are looking forward to preparing our exhibits for the 2026 theme - 'Land of Make Believe'
There will be a meeting at The Beeches on Monday 23rd February to decide which cooperative classes we are going to enter this year
